Welcome Monday!
It's another Monday Music Moves Me.
I missed last week..tear...snub..but today is a freebie.
I'm just going to hit you with those songs that
me and my girls love to hear and sing in the car.
Sometimes Jack sings and sometimes he rolls his eyes.
Let's go riding...
Are ya singing yet?
Are you still riding with us or do you want out?
Sometimes it get a little dirty...
You know your living in the south when your cheerleader daughter
is doing kicks through this song...as I am typing...
Okay, we're home now..get out the car...
I hope you enjoyed this Monday Music Moves Me
and at least got some laughs.
I'm definitely a Blondie fan back in the day I think everybody loved her. Great choices today girlfriend. Lots of great memories here. Thanks for sharing & joining us! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. Did you sing along? lol.I hated missing last week. Glad you stopped by.
DeleteLove all of these!!

Oh thanks, Debbie!

ReplyDeleteIf You Want Some It Goes Like This with a Little Bit Of Everything Blowin’ Smoke in Cups
Thanks Stacy. These usually make me want to sing and dance...omg..it's a site.
DeleteExcellent bunch of songs I was headbanging away ...joking LOL
ReplyDeleteHave a brilliant week ;-)
These seem to always be the ones that come on the radio when we are in the car. Thanks for dropping by.
DeleteSO AWESOME!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry for the yelling but THIS was such an awesome playlist. It's just perfect as I am sitting in the sun, watching kids splash in the kiddie pool as it is Stinking Hot -- but I have an Ice Capp; and now good tunes.
You got 2 of my girl crushes in Blondie and Joan Jett. No one can resist Jessie's Girl or My Sharona; I don't care what kind of music you say you like.
I saw Steve Earle do Copperhead Road live. Actually a whole impromptu concert when he just jumped on stage with the band. He was amazing!
I guess my likes in music are very eclectic or may be just moody, it just depends on what mood hits me. I have told my friends many times how relaxed I was by the pool...oh yeah, kiddie pool...lol...hope you had a blast on this sunny day.
DeleteBy the way Steve Earle is still recording. It's not to bad. sorta edgy bluegrass.
Oh gosh now Jessie's Girl is going to be stuck in my mind all week!!! haha.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great list!
He he...my daughter was watching a movie as I was scrolling through the 4M's and on the movie the were singing karaoke to Jessie's Girl that's what got my whole roll going. Thanks for visiting.
DeleteWhat great picks you have here! I would have done some kicks too if I didn't think I would have killed myself.
ReplyDeleteGreat job. Thanks for playing along.
~Naila Moon
LOL...I just watched. My Alisha did her little cheer dance and went into the kicks. The kicks go most of the song. She said she really needed her boot on...never a dull moment around here. So glad ya stopped by!
DeleteI normally never listen to Joan Jett's other songs but I hate myself for loving you. Glad you featured a new (to me) one of hers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by. I'm glad you liked Joan Jett. Have a great week.
DeleteOh, my gosh one great song after another. I grew up on these songs. LOVE THEM!!! Oh, Rick Springfield, I had such a crush on him and wore "Jesse's Girl" out. My sister hated that song because I played it over and over again.
ReplyDeleteLucy from Lucy's Reality
Ya' know, he don't look to bad these days...lol. We wore it out, too and honestly I didn't really understand "My Sharona" when we were belting it out. I'm not sure what words we were really singing to it either. Thanks for joining my flashback crazy days.
DeleteGreat picks that bring me back to my college days where I saw Charlie Daniels sing that one in concert, would have easily dumped Jesse for Rick, and watched my gay male friend fall for Joan Jett as well as Farrah Fawcett. I wonder if his partner knows about these sneaks to the other side?

He he..cute. She is sorta' manly...funny. Thanks for dropping by.
DeleteNice picks! We jam out to a few of those too! Sang to the lyrics of Mickey... "Hey Lynn you're so fine... your play list really blew my mind... Hey Lynn!" Sorry couldnt resist! :)
ReplyDeleteLOL...when I was in school there was that guy that every girl liked; of course his name was Ricky...Hey, Ricky your so fine your so fine you blow my mind....It was really lame but I think we were in the 5th or 6th grade.
DeleteFabulous musical picks for freebie week! You had me groovin' to the tunes in my chair. I'm so lovin' being back on the dance floor with all my lovlies who join in on Monday's Music Moves Me! :)
ReplyDeleteWords cannot convey how in love with Rick Springfield I was when I was a teen. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL....thanks for stopping by.
