Merry Monday Morning!
Christmas time will soon be arriving
&
I'm looking forward to friends and family.
We do Christmas Virginia-style around here
hope you enjoy these songs as much as much as I do.
Put those Smiles on cause...
Let it be Christmas...everywhere!
About the only thing on my little boys mind this year is toy trains.
A Christmas Carol....
Nothing sounds so sweet to my ear at Christmas as
"Beautiful Star of Bethlehem."
I love it best sung by my Mama but the simplicity that
Heather Berry-Mabe brings the song is pretty close.
Go Tell It On The Mountain that Jesus Christ is Born!
Wishing all the Bah Humbugs away...Replaced with all the Joys.
Be Blessed!
All such beautiful, country Christmas tunes. You have a few picks that are new-to-me, but I loved being introduced to them. I never tire of hearing Christmas music! Thanks for joining us on the dance floor with the 4M crew!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cathy! I enjoyed Christmas music, too. I had to just stop myself I could have been gathering songs all day. We would sing around the house growing up...I still sing around the house. There's something about music that makes the heart happy in good times and bad. Have a great Monday!
DeleteI liked all them there's some really good Christmas songs on my rounds today :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a baubletastic week ;-)
I'm so glad you enjoyed these songs. Have a Wonderful Day!
DeleteI like Old Toy Trains! My kids love trains. That's probably why I was drawn to the song.
ReplyDeleteThe first time I heard Old Toy Trains my oldest son was a small little boy and I fell in love with the song but now my youngest son (7yrs) is such a train fan right now that it still is so dear to me. I'm so glad you enjoyed it, too!
DeleteI love the song, Old Toy Trains. I have to make sure that it is on our Christmas list of songs. I haven't heard it played in the house yet.
ReplyDeleteIt's a special song. I love it! I'm glad you do, too.
DeleteCountry and Christmas brings back great memories for me. We used to gather at my grandparent's farm -- and old country holiday tunes would be playing. One of my faves is Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. And Amy Grant has a song Tennessee Christmas that I love. Now we gather at my aunt's farm: still country, still strong! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, Dolly & Kenny's Christmas is a favorite around here, too. Tennessee Christmas is a good one, as well. I hope all of you and your'n are enjoying all the joys of the season!
DeleteChristmas Virginia styled. I like it. I hope you have a wonderful time with your family!
ReplyDeleteThank you..I hope you and all yours are have a joyous holiday season!
DeleteChristmas in Virginia, Georgia, Florida or Illinois it's the same all over the world... it's blessed with the joy of good music! Thanks for sharing and by the way my Mom was a Roger Miller fan. Thanks for the smile on my face with that one. HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteAwh..I'm so glad you enjoyed these. I originally was looking for a different artist but couldn't find the song by him so it must have been meant for you. Merry Christmas!
DeleteLynn, these are so much fun. Love the steel guitars, the sweet country sounds. These have really put me in the County Christmas mood! :) O Holy Night always touches my heart. ♥
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you've enjoyed these, too. Oh my goodness, "Oh Holy Night" gives me goosebumps.
