Where to begin?

Uh...Where do I begin?
I'm going to begin with it's Monday and thank the Lord it ain't raining.
Other than the rain forest that once was my yard and the bombarding of insects
all is truthfully well with us.
Matthew 5:45......for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and send rain on the just and on the unjust.

Tiger Lilies will soon be blooming.

One purple pepper is on the vine.
I've been anticipating them but my peppers have been slow. Almost everything has been slow coming along.

We also have a few green ones.
purple hydrangea
I did manage to find a few blackberries on the vine.
I guess Judd(our goat) didn't get to these.
That brings me to a the subject of Judd.
We lost our goat yesterday. He was just a goat but I'm quite sad over him dying.
He had quite q personality.
We've been on a bad roll lately: now we're down to Shabby Cat.
Be careful Shabbs...I don't think I can take another lose.

Well with all that being said, it is another Monday Music Moves Me.
The theme is a freebie.
Photobucket

I just stumbled across this video while looking for another and I couldn't help but share it...

John Fogerty....."Have You Ever Seen the Rain?"

Kacey Musgraves...."Blowin' Smoke."

And Yeah......Josh Turner, "Firecracker"

Thanks for the visit!
Come Again!

  1. I'm so sorry about Judd. :-(

Just look at those peppers. Our 14 pepper plants haven't even started setting peppers yet.

    1. Thanks. Where are you at again? My sister lives about an hour down the road from us and she has had all kind of veggies and fruit. It is funny what a little difference can make.

    1. Thanks Marie. If you live with animals, you learn that you will loose them, too. It just seems between the hens and now him...OMG...

    1. I'll tell ya later. It was basically natural; not a predator.

  7. LOVE John Fogerty! I'm so jealous of all your plant life, too.....I'd totally grow (some of) my own food if only I didn't have a brown thumb - and knew how to keep critters out. How hot are the purple peppers? I'm only familiar with....well, all the other colors. Cute goat and kitty cat, too! Happy week!

    1. I don't think the purple peppers will be hot at all mostly sweet. They are more like a bell pepper but I'm sorta guessing. I've never really ate one. Thanks for stopping by.

    1. Thanks Steve. I'm a big CCR fan. Their songs are so simple usually one or two chords but they still sound great.

  11. Awww...poor Judd. so sorry about your loss.

I returned home from camping to find a tiger lily had bloomed, and my hydrangea as well. No veggies though...I don't get enough sun for anything except some tomato plants in pots.

guitar pickin was Awesome!! Love that.
And yes, have seen the rain a lot lately - but still love that song.
Love the Kacey song. really like her voice!

  12. John Fogerty's Have You Ever Seen the Rain is a classic! We had more than our share of rain last week. Whew, I'm happy that it's dryer this week. All of your vegetation looks great! Maybe you'll get enough blackberries to make a delicious cobbler with. Farm animals become part of the family just like family pets do, so I can see why you're sad over loosing Judd.

Thanks for joining us on Monday's Music Moves Me!

    1. What is up with the rain?? It rained before Monday was through and it has rained everyday. It rained this morning. I think it's doing something to my mentality. Thanks for the visit. Hope your week is a great one.
