Are You A Sap Like Me

Okay...maybe "sap" was a bit strong.
Maybe I should have said, "sappy like me."

I am never the women with the lovely hands. Yes, I have been told to wear my gloves but even when I was a girl being scolded by my grandmother for not getting my gloves on before toting wood or whatever else, I would almost never have my gloves on.

Gather the ground cedar, other greenery and yes,the live Christmas tree has meant that my hands have been a continual sappy mess.

I wanted to share my quick fix out of this sticky mess.
Yes, you can buy a variety of products but the cheapest and easiest one I've used is
Good old Vaseline.
Just a Dab will do ya!
Rub it on your hands for just a little, then wash your hand and watch the sap
disappear.

    1. You know, I might should have already thought of it before. I had some other citrus based cleaner that worked real well but it was one of those things you run out of but don't need it so you forget to replace it. My daughter(cheerleader) had some Cougar paw prints on her face after a game and we were struggling to get off her face and it took that off too.

  3. I don't like wearing gloves either! They just seem to get in the way most of the time.

  4. Lynn, thanks for a brilliant tip. I always go hunting for the Goof-Off or the WD-40 to clean off sticky messes, but always hate the idea of all those chemicals. Vaseline would actually be good for my hands! ♥
