Stuart Elementary 5K Run/ Walk

Stuart Elementary held their first 5K Run/Walk Charity event.
We did this run last Saturday and it was so much fun.
My son and I did the event together.
We also participated in the 8 week training with about 40 other SES student.
There is nothing that will get your adrenaline going like running through the street of town
with a whole mess of young 'ens.

That's my boy!

This event along with the candy fundraiser allowed the school to come up with
half the money needed to cover the cost of the new security system.
I think that's great!

  1. Nice! Where is the picture with you, though? LG ran a fun run at the same race I did a 5K at, but I don't think he's quite 5K ready yet. That will be fun if he does, though. And your little guy looks like he was happy, even in the end. Good deal.

    1. Ah..it's never too late. The beauty is that most are Run/Walks and there are people at all levels and I have never seen anyone be judgmental. It is always very supportive group of people, always lots of smiles.
