Christmas In Virginia~Monday Music Moves Me

Merry Monday Morning!
Christmas time will soon be arriving
&
I'm looking forward  to friends and family.
We do Christmas Virginia-style around here
hope you enjoy these songs as much as much as I do.

Put those Smiles on cause...

Let it be Christmas...everywhere!

About the only thing on my little boys mind this year is toy trains.

A Christmas Carol....

Nothing sounds so sweet to my ear at Christmas as
"Beautiful Star of Bethlehem."
I love it best sung by my Mama but the simplicity that
Heather Berry-Mabe brings the song is pretty close.

Go Tell It On The Mountain that Jesus Christ is Born!

Wishing all the Bah Humbugs away...Replaced with all the Joys.

Be Blessed!

  1. All such beautiful, country Christmas tunes. You have a few picks that are new-to-me, but I loved being introduced to them. I never tire of hearing Christmas music! Thanks for joining us on the dance floor with the 4M crew!

    1. Thanks Cathy! I enjoyed Christmas music, too. I had to just stop myself I could have been gathering songs all day. We would sing around the house growing up...I still sing around the house. There's something about music that makes the heart happy in good times and bad. Have a great Monday!

  3. I like Old Toy Trains! My kids love trains. That's probably why I was drawn to the song.

    1. The first time I heard Old Toy Trains my oldest son was a small little boy and I fell in love with the song but now my youngest son (7yrs) is such a train fan right now that it still is so dear to me. I'm so glad you enjoyed it, too!

  5. Country and Christmas brings back great memories for me. We used to gather at my grandparent's farm -- and old country holiday tunes would be playing. One of my faves is Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. And Amy Grant has a song Tennessee Christmas that I love. Now we gather at my aunt's farm: still country, still strong! :)
